With a cool autumn breeze and deep autumn charm, the SDG Group Suzhou Family Day, themed "Love in MEAN WELL, Together for a Bright Future", kicked off grandly on the morning of November 9 at the Suzhou MEAN WELL Smart Park. Nearly a thousand employees, family members and partners registered and participated. The Family Day provided a platform for staff and their families to enhance emotional communication and enjoy joyful moments, conveying the company’s social responsibility and care, and impressing the corporate image of SDG Group deeply in everyone’s heart.
The opening ceremony began with a vibrant and upbeat song full of youthful energy. At the start of the event, Mr. He Machao, General Manager of Suzhou MEAN WELL, delivered a welcome speech, expressing his warm welcome and sincere gratitude to everyone present. He stated that the sustainable development of Suzhou MEAN WELL would not be possible without the hard work of every employee and the support of their families behind them. He took this opportunity to gather everyone together to deepen mutual understanding, and to stand with MEAN WELL with one heart, one effort, and one direction to build a better future together.
Mr. Tsai Ming-Chih, Chief Executive Officer of SDG Group Greater China, remarked: Looking back 18 years, we started from a tiny room no bigger than a security booth, and have grown into an enterprise with 100,000 square meters and an annual output value of nearly 4 billion yuan. It all feels like just yesterday. On this day of favorable timing, advantageous location, and harmonious people, we gather here to share this joyful and wonderful time together!
Mr. Liu Xinghua, Chairman of SHARE WELL Group, stated that this is the first family day event co-hosted by Suzhou MEAN WELL of SDG Group and SHARE WELL. With nearly three months of joint preparation and planning by all teams, the event has finally come to fruition today. He wished the Suzhou Family Day a complete success!
Our respected mentor, Mr. Lin Guodong, Founder of SDG Group, delivered the opening speech. He stated that the first MEAN WELL power supply produced in 2006 represented hundreds of millions more to come in the future. The original 20 employees who grew with the company have long been deeply rooted in MEAN WELL, and the second generation of MEAN WELL members is gradually joining the team, continuously driving the force of sustainable development.
The Family Day featured a rich variety of activities, including games themed Sharing Resources and Creating the Future Together, DIY workshops, charity bazaar, food stalls, campus tour, basketball match, science experiments, bubble show, face painting, sports meet award ceremony, lucky draw, quiz with prizes, and charity cake sharing…

The award ceremony for the 1st SDG Group Suzhou Sports Meet was also held at 11:00 a.m. With the release of the basketball game results, the overall champion of the first sports meet was determined. The SHARE WELL team won the team competition with a score of 3:2! Mr. Lin, Founder of SDG Group, presented the award to the SHARE WELL team!
